Both my Tivos can see each other, but, of course, I only have a couple of things I can actually watch.

On one hand, I can understand there are legal issues with streaming of content. On the other, though, I just can't see how hard it can be to sort out. Given that the channels allow their content to be DVR'd (and, in the cases of many, already allow the Tivo to stream from an "on demand" service such as iPlayer) I just don't see how complicated it can be to allow me to stream to another room. I could, for example, use a video sender to allow me to watch content in another room, so what exactly is the concern that the copyright holders have?Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10207603927546996505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5083434439648769491.post-18562012815650191072012-11-18T22:11:44.078+00:002012-11-18T22:11:44.078+00:00In my setup the plugs never go into power-saving m...In my setup the plugs never go into power-saving mode, since their connected to network switches.

At all times, both TiVos are connected to the network.Jason (Admin)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12072084156369001899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5083434439648769491.post-5161822089156447112012-11-18T22:09:02.644+00:002012-11-18T22:09:02.644+00:00I had similar issues with TP-Link Powerline adapte...I had similar issues with TP-Link Powerline adapters, they don't work well with virgin tivo - apparently most have a built in "eco" setting which disconnects the device from the network when it senses that there is no traffic flowing through it.

This 'feature' seems to clash with the other tivo discovery.

I didn't spend much time trying to sort it out however I could see no way of switching off the 'eco' setting.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17085656245553153529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5083434439648769491.post-4295193344263891642012-11-17T21:08:16.566+00:002012-11-17T21:08:16.566+00:00Yer not good,But you cant really blame providers.V...Yer not good,But you cant really blame providers.VM have been banging on about tivo streaming from when the tivo was first released, common sense would have been to contact providers pre launch and had this sorted.Another VM Cock uphowardmickshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04531276374828165076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5083434439648769491.post-28336471226472913762012-11-17T21:07:48.003+00:002012-11-17T21:07:48.003+00:00Yer not good,But you cant really blame providers.V...Yer not good,But you cant really blame providers.VM have been banging on about tivo streaming from when the tivo was first released, common sense would have been to contact providers pre launch and had this sorted.Another VM Cock uphowardmickshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04531276374828165076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5083434439648769491.post-14679700733177196772012-11-12T21:46:13.782+00:002012-11-12T21:46:13.782+00:00There are responses on the VM Help & Support F...There are responses on the VM Help & Support Forum saying more channels will be enabled for mulit-room streaming "in the next few weeks"
I hope so - it's fairly useless at the moment.ianparnellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05671425546284437135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5083434439648769491.post-6886038061099453352012-11-12T21:42:49.313+00:002012-11-12T21:42:49.313+00:00Virgin Mobile don't sell iPhones, they sell (m...Virgin Mobile don't sell iPhones, they sell (mostly) Android phones, but choose to leave their own customers waiting for the TVAnywhere app - bizarreianparnellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05671425546284437135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5083434439648769491.post-15472085171620601552012-11-12T08:44:55.770+00:002012-11-12T08:44:55.770+00:00I emailed them on Friday saying I couldn't vie...I emailed them on Friday saying I couldn't view any of my content on my other box and when would channels be available, I got a reply this morning saying they understand my frustration and I should contact customer services if I have a problem viewing programmes, Que ? that's not what I asked !Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10927395552215025397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5083434439648769491.post-70425163107156334732012-11-11T22:16:37.084+00:002012-11-11T22:16:37.084+00:00I find it difficult to believe that the Android Ap...I find it difficult to believe that the Android App was not developed alongside the iPad one.
